It has now been exactly a year since I began Tilted Behaviour and consequently I thought I should give my readers (all four of you . . . yes it has increased over the new year!) something special.
I originally planned on running a freeroll of some kind only to realise that I’m a little low on the cashola since my exit from PokerNews, and instead decided on launching a new development for the website.
My old photo gallery was pretty hard to navigate round and took its time in uploading pictures. I looked round for a new plugin and decided to update and use the NextGEN Gallery for storing and displaying my photos from around the felt and around the world.
So head over to Tilted Behaviour’s new photo gallery and let me know what you think because I can see the improvement and hopefully you can too!

Hey mate,
Are you interested /available in working for PNW covering Event #1 of the Aussie Millions?
* * * * * * * *
After getting shot this email from Heath the three letters of Y-E-S have never been typed faster as I was on the verge of my first live work since early October.
I have been doing articles and re-writes for PokerNetwork, but nothing beats getting back into the swing of things and working on the tournament floor as a blogger.
I haven’t been explained all the details regarding the event, but I will be working for PokerNetwork doing live coverage of Event 1 of the Aussie Millions (beginning in a week’s time) on behalf of the website Bet 24/7.
Hopefully my coverage will KICK SOME ASS . . . but only you can be the judge!
I had a tough end to last year and I’m glad to welcome in 2010!
I’m hoping that this year will see me improve across many areas, and consequently I thought I might elaborate what exactly my major goals are.
1. Improve Online Play: I’ve never had too much luck online, but I’m hoping that this year I can take the next step forward whether it be cash games or tournaments and start seeing some constant results.
2. Improve Live Play: I think this goes hand-in-hand with the previous goal as I believe an improvement in online pay will influence my live play quite substantially. I only had a few tournament scores last year and I believe some of my leaks which may have cost me a result or two are very easy to fix with some additional learning and advice. Not only do I want my tournament game to improve but I also want to become a stronger cash game player so I can start taking steps to move up in limits.
3. Grow Tilted Behaviour: The reader base here at Tilted Behaviour hasn’t stopped growing since I first made a blog entry, but I would love to see this number continue to grow. I have a few ideas that may attract some new readers and reward the loyal ones that have put up with my sometime stale poker drab, but I thank you for making it feel like someone other than my best mates are reading what’s going on.
4. Keep Writing: Although I may not be blogging on the live reporting scene anymore, I’m hoping that I can continue to write and get articles published while also taking steps to improve. Not only do I want to do more poker-based writing, but I also what to increase my own personal stuff so that I can keep a healthy balance between the two.
5. Just Like Everyone Else . . . Get Fit and Healthy: As it says, this goal is probably on everyone’s list, but it’s one that I definitely need to focus on. These past few years working for PokerNews and PokerNetwork has seen me get in terrible shape courtesy of all the travel, bad food, lack of sleep and limited chance of continuing my passion for playing sports. I’m still fairly young(ish) and with a few steps in the right direction I can begin the transformation.
There are of course many other things that I want to achieve throughout the year, but this will do for now.
Hopefully you guys out there will make sure I’m working away at ticking off these goals!
