bio
After completing my primary and secondary education at Geelong Grammar School I moved up to Melbourne where I completed my Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Majors in Human Resource Management and Accounting) at Deakin University in early 2007.
Taking some time off before beginning an industry-based career, I worked as a school sports coach while honing my already developing skills on the poker tables at Crown Casino and in regular home games.
During mid-April I won a freeroll which gave me entry into a $550 WSOP satellite. I was then able to parlay that free entry into a $17,500 WSOP Package by outlasting 155 others . . . in other words I was on the verge of satisfying every poker player’s dream of heading to the Mecca of poker; Las Vegas.
With a great start to my WSOP campaign I would eventually fall two places short of the money late on Day 3 in 623rd position when my Queens on the button would fall victim to the small blinds Aces!
An 11th placing in the 2007 Victorian Poker Championships and qualification for the 2008 Aussie Millions would do some justification, but it wasn’t till I landed a few tournament blogging and reporting jobs with PokerNews that I would find something that I truly enjoyed.
Blogging opportunities followed in Melbourne, Las Vegas, Macau and Sydney which was also supported through a constant stream of composing articles and news for Australia’s leading poker portal PokerNetwork.
Seeing myself as a developing poker journalist and with a new year upon us, I decided to launch Tilted Behaviour; a website dedicated to bringing all my adventures while at home and on the road to you!
Not only does it contain a blog and news updates, but it will also play host to interviews with poker professionals and photos capturing the life and times in the poker industry.
Stay logged on to Tilted Behaviour where you can stay up to date with all the poker news from around the world.
